Text mining functions or open source in c#

I'm looking for some open source software or libraries/functions for mining text files. My brainstorming program creates thousands of pages of logically mutated text and deposits them in a directory on the hard drive. I want to have a program that will read the files on the hard drive and have an interface to index them in a way that a human would find useful.

Does anyone know any software out there already that does something similar to this? It wouldn't have to do it all, but just be a good indexing program. The idea is to be able to eventually handle gigabytes of data.
