Unhappy my .net dont work!
hello, i am actually a designer but need to connect my site to a database, i've choosen this time to use .net because i think in the future it will be much better for me. I had only used ASP before and was able to work o.k. with it. Now I am starting to use .net for the first time and it doesnt work. I think it might be something really stupid, but since i'm not a programer i can't fix it. I do almost everything in dreamweaver and i customize that code to fit my needs... i only made the conection and it doesn't work.

where do i get the tutorial?
whats wrong with dreamweaver? i really hate ms products. yuck!

and i've used dreamweaver with asp and was able to do what i wanted withouth much programming knowledge. (i am not interested in learning, i just want to get things done.)

.NET is a microsoft technology and nothing supports microsoft technologies better than microsoft products, so you better get used to it.

Dreamweaver doesn't have good support for .NET.

You can't get something done without learning how to do it.
If you want to get something done in .NET, you're going to have to learn .NET
