Article Discussion: Connecting to WMI with PHP

WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) is a very powerful tool for anyone who runs their own server on a win32 platform. It can provide you with many pieces of information that you’d never thought possible. Beyond that you can even control almost every aspect of your system with WMI. Couple that with PHP and you’ll have the power to perform almost any type of action you’d like on your server.

Hi

Thank you so much for this tutorial on using wmi with php.

Some questions:

Do you think these features could work with PHP 4.3.10 ?

How can i access remote computers to get wmi values.

For exemple, with a vbscript, i know how to connect the object winmgts, get domain values, cpu,.....

But i could not figure how to do that in php combine with your technic..

I thank you by advance to answer and hope this could help me to complete my project.
