javascript commands not doing anything
Hey all.. since you're a bunch of experts on various scripting languages, I figured this would be the place to come for help.
Recently, I noticed that javascript prompts (buttons and stuff) don't work properly on my machine.
I'm running Win XP, with IE 6. I've checked my Internet Options/Security settings and other settings to make sure javascript is not disabled.
I have disabled any adware / spyware blockers, and have downloaded and installed the newest version of the java runtime engine.
Still, when I click somethign that is javascript, nothing happens. For example.. in most eBay auctions that have multiple pictures, you can
click on a thumbnail image and a larger version of that image will appear.. nothing happens for me. Windows Update.. can't do that either because it uses
Javascript. most frustrating - when I'm trying to configure my wireless router.. the 'apply' button is javascript.. so I can't save my settings for port forwarding!
Please help!!!
What else can I do to fix this???
Thanks!!!
