Question Need script to display file date created

Hi.. I am new to ASP and scripting. I have a web page with links to several excel report files, and I would like to have the create date displayed for each file. Is there a basic script to obtain and display this information.
Thanks to all for any suggestions.....

PHP Code:
Function Created()

Dim objFSO
    Dim objFile
    Dim dCreated
    Dim FileName
    FileName
Request.ServerVariables("Script_Name")

Set objFSO Server.CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

Set objFile objFSO.GetFile(Server.MapPath(FileName))

Created objFile.DateCreated

'Created = FormatDateTime(dCreated, 1) & " at " & FormatDateTime(dCreated, 3)
    Set objFile = Nothing
    Set objFSO = Nothing
End Function

This should get you started. It's been working for me for years. This function is placed on a page to give the date create. (Actually used in meta tags/data)

The key is the path and filename. Map path won't work if you are referencing a file in another directory.
