hey there i was just wondering... how do i send an email from a form on my site using cgi? and what is a sendmail module? haha
I've tried out the Send to E-Mail Address' command in the 'Form Properties' dialog box in frontpage and i got an error after i click on submit... It says the page cannot be displayed. Where do i go from here? the code for the starting of the form looks like this: Code:
<form method="POST" action="--WEBBOT-SELF--"> *<!--webbot bot="SaveResults" U-File="fpweb:///_private/form_results.csv" S-Format="TEXT/CSV" S-Label-Fields="TRUE" S-Email-Address="icepricessa@hotmail.com" S-Email-Format="TEXT/PRE" --> What do i need to do? thanks a bunch ![]() haha sorry not really too good at this ![]() |

BAH!
frontpage.... there are a ton of free CGI email scripts available on the net. Most even come with step by step instruction on how to use them. Try a google search on it. Are you just emailing to one e-mail? cause then you could use: action=mailto:email@email.com?subject=welcome to my site Or I always liked ASP mail components like CDOSYS or CDONTS good luck |
