The BrowseForFolder Method

Originally posted by : MF (michael-f@rocketmail.com)

I'd like to have a button in my web-form that makes it possible for the
users to browse for a folder where they have their works and then after
clicking the "OK"-button and the "submit form"-button the path to the
folder they have chose in the "browse-folder"-window is sent to the
next page. How do I build this "Browse For Folder"-VBScript in ASP
(with WSH). I've seen a method that is called BrowseForFolder, but I
don't know how to use it. Please help me.
Thanks!
/Michael

In this function you can find all the options to call this method. It shouldn't be difficult to build this into a webpage.

You can find this script on my site:
http://home.hccnet.nl/jh.scheffer/en/browseforfolder.html

I hope you can use this information

Jan Herman

------------
MF at 7/4/2001 5:51:10 AM

I'd like to have a button in my web-form that makes it possible for the
users to browse for a folder where they have their works and then after
clicking the "OK"-button and the "submit form"-button the path to the
folder they have chose in the "browse-folder"-window is sent to the
next page.
