Normally the accepted protocol is to leave your original post and then post a follow up with the answer when you ended up with it. That way you can be helping others in the future instead of just thinking about yourself. The forums are not just about answering questions for people and then they go away. No, the answers are here as a kind of FAQ which can be searched and the answers found. But if everyone was to remove their post because they got an answer, then the forum would not be the place it is today.

I have always posted the answer when I figure it out myself. The difference here is that I realized my problem as soon as I hit the submit button and I couldn't see any way to delete the post. There was nothing wrong with the code I was going to include and it would have been a waste of time for anyone to look at it since it was very specific and simple code(rather presumptious I know)
I'll post the answer though so this isn't a completely wasted post. If you declare a variable, be sure all instances of that variable or typed properly ![]() |
