Access 97 replica set error message.
I am getting this error on a access 97 database that we have been using for years. the message just started popping. use are still able to access the database, yet this message will not got away.
this member of the replica set has expired because it hasn't been syncronized with another m ember of the replica set. |

I can't give you much detailed info, since I have never used Access replication, but a quick Google search produced this information from Microsoft: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/a...2623321033.aspx Sounds like your database was designed to be synchronized with other Access databases. If this makes sense to you, you will have to decide whether that's still necessary, and if so, how to do that. If no other database(s) need to be synchronized with this one, perhaps you can just disable the replication (but I am not familiar with how to do that, sorry).

The reason is as it stated, you have not syncronized with another replica for a while. If you still need to use the synchronize capability, then you would make the replica set with the most updated info the master by using "recover master" setting. Once you created the master, then you make replica of it and redistribute it. |

It may possible your replica set is exceed no of days or may be corrupt. If one replica is expired then just replaced it from another replica in the set (which had been regularly synched). If both replica have expired, and you can't create new replicas, then I'd say you are forced to recreate the replica set. Find out which replica has the latest data, import its data into a new MDB, then manually apply the updates from the other replica. If replica set is corrupt then you can repair it using replication manager or access repair software. Replication Manager includes features that let you schedule and execute unattended synchronizations without programming. If still your database is giving replica set error use Stellar Phoenix access recovery software which will repair your database with replica set and will fix all errors.
