Converting from 2000 to 97 problems

When I convert from Access 2000 to Access 97 I cannot run my reports as 97 doesn't seem to recognise Format$ function (and Trim function). I get an error message regarding Visual Basic files.

From Microsoft website, it suggested copying and pasting the objects in my DB to a new blank DB after conversion. Will this work ? In time for Monday morning?

Can I update my Visual Basic files? If so, how?

Any help, would be grateful.

Dave
