i am trying to dim something as a database, i know it can be done as i have done it before and i have written programs that work using it, but the computer won't recognise it, it seems to think it is a user-defined data type!!! |

In order to Dim an object as a database, you need to reference either ADO or a DAO library
in the vb editor Tools References And Select Micorsoft DAO Object Library OR Micorsoft ActiveX Data Object Library S- |
