Form Problem

I am helping someone with an old database that was originally created using Access 97

I has in the distant past been upgraded to 2000 but a certain form will not now open, not by clicking, not by opening in design view or anything.

I have compacted and repaired the databse, no luck

I have tried converting it back to Access 97 but it just quits with an error half way through the conversion.

Any help as to how I can open this form ?

TIA

For as much time as you have spent on it, it probably would have been faster to delete the form as recreate it.

You could try deleting the from and importing it directly from the old 97 DB. Don't know if it will work, but give it a shot.

Smile

Dont know what the form looks like or I agree that it would be quicker to re-create it

There are about 20 tables and the people can't remember what the form had on it just that it used to work and saved them much work.

I will try exporting from the original 97 database though

Thanks

If you have the orginal 97 DB, open it up and see what it looks like and what it did. There might be something on it that makes it not work in 2000.
