how to export a spreadsheet from excel to access using a macro

Good day all

I have a switchboard in access and when the command button is click it initiates a macro that should export the excel spreadsheet. If u have any ideas how to do this I am open to suggestions

I am unsure what you want, Do you want to do this, or are you trying this and it is not working?

I have a file in excel that I want to export to Access and to do this I have a switchboard in Access where when u click on a command button it should export this spreadsheet into access. The command button sets off a macro (not sure if this is needed or if I just put some coding in the command button is sufficient) that should export the file but there are so many macro types I'm not sure which one to use and if its the right one. How would u go about it? Is this clear enough?

In Access you create a macro that will transfer your spreadsheet into Access (TransferSpreadSheet - import). Then from you switchbaird in Access you create a switchboard item that will execute the macro you just created.
