Is this possible
I am having troubling saving data on a continous form.
I have a field that is setup to automatically increment a number. I the default value I put: =DMax("2005Num","2005Table")+1 This works for incrementing the number but, I am needing to be able to save the data after it updates the number. I can not figure out how to get it to save automatically. Thanks |

Don't post a question multiple times,
See eariler remarks, ALso do you want to you bound forms? Wouldn't recommend it for based on the fact you are creating the PK. Why don't you just use autonumber field? S- |

I need a specific format for the number @-@@@ is going to be the format.
If I could just get the actual control to update on change and save to the table. Thanks |

Because you want to use a customerized PK, I wouldn't recommend Bound forms, read following thread and ask any other questions that you need answered
