I work in a hospital and the administrator wants me to make a report (with a chart) that shows the number of procedures performed over time.
I have a simple table that includes: Procedure name Month Year Number of procedures I put in data for a single procedure for 3 years and created the graph, grouping by procedure...everythings fine. However, when I go to the next procedure type, I am expecting there to be two charts and the data in the chart will include only the data that applies to that procedure. Well, I have two charts...each under the proper procedure, but the chart is adding together the counts for each procedure type. That is, I have an aggregate chart, duplicated under each procedure. I have messed around with changing the record source in the chart to include the procedure, but that just messes things up worse. Any ideas? |

If the dataset drving the chart is correct, then you have setup your chart wrong. Could you post a sample of your DB and we can help you fix the actual problem.

Thanks sbaxter. I'm having trouble posting it. I stripped out everything I could think of and it is still telling me the zip file I'm trying to attach is too big (370 kb). Can I email it to you?
