Need a records trick ???

I want to retrieve specific records as they relate to a specific month or date range in a report.

This database tracks court dates for police officers. Court dates may be continued several times before the trail actually commences. Therefore, I want to print a monthly report that shows all the possible cases that will be going to trial for that specific month or date range. I want the user to be prompted to enter the month or date range that they are inquiring about, but all the records for that specific month or date range must show. And I want to print it out as a report.

I need help as to the Proper method on how to accomplish this.

The report that I am using is named Court Cases. the record source is a query called court date continuations, the field that indicates the court date for trial is named Date_ContinuedCourtDate.

Thanks for the help Court Date Continuations

Im working in Access 2000

It sounds like you want to print a reports that is based on a query that prints for a specific range of dates.

To do this create your query with all the field you want included on the report and in the query criteria of the Date_ContinuedCourtDate enter the following (assuming it is a date field)

Between #[Enter the Beginning Date (IE 05/01/03)]# and #[Enter the Ending Date (IE 05/31/03)]#

When the run the report/query it will automatically ask for the Begin Date and End Date of the range they want
