PLease Help a Novice

Hello i have over the last few weeks tried to learn the basics of access to make a Autocad register

I have now got the basics of what i need sorted but what i need now has completly thrown me!
What i am after is a way to create a button that will link the drawing relevant to that entry to my email program ( outlook or Outlook express not fussed which) and then record the name of the recipents and the date sent
The purpose being that i can see who i have sent the drawing to and i can then send them any updates

is this even possible!

please can anyone help,
I have include the register if it helps
and like the subject says I am a novice and have a tiny tiny amount of knowledge
