sorting in the same field
hi,
i have a small problem first i am giving the table here, Depart Model Status EADL 070-678-k-rghjk1 Ok EADL 070-678-k-rghjk2 Ok EADL 070-678-k-rghjk3 NOk EADL 070-678-k-rghjk4 NOk EADL 070-678-k-rghjk5 NOk EADL 070-678-k-rghjk6 Ok EPD 0570-4598-r-fsdagdas1 Ok EPD 0570-4598-r-fsdagdas2 Ok this is the table with department, model and status fields in a deparment there are some model checks as 070-678-k-rghjk, the last didgit is the version nr, if the check is tested on the same day on same dept the model name just changes the name with just version nr as 1,2,3,4,5´,6 .... i want a query such that the output result should be the model with highest version the result of the above table come as EADL 070-678-k-rghjk6 Ok EPD 0570-4598-r-fsdagdas2 Ok[/COLOR] |
