Reports - Subreport not showing up on report when there are no records listed

Please help! I have a report that includes multiple subreports. When a subreport has no records to list, it leaves that subreport off the report. Is there a way to show this subreport even though there are no records to list and show a message "no records"?

Due to this problem, there is a lot of "empty space" showing on the report between certain subreports and I cannot have that.

K

Have you tried setting the property can grow and can shrink to yes this should cut out the blank spaces.

I tried that and it doesn't work. I have subreports that are overlapping each other so that I can get the information to fit a certain way, so I am thinking that may be causing it not to work.

Any other ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should not have overlapping sub forms select them and drang the vertical size down to zero then move all the sub reports up close with the property set to can grow the ones with data in should expand as necessary.
