synchronising

If I work on a data base at home and modify it, is there a way I can import just the modifications to the same data base at my work place?? I tried replicating it but the macros don't work. Any ideas??

Find an FTP site ( Yahoo breifcase is free) and just tranfer the latest DB to it and then download it when you want to work on it.

otherwise buy an external zip device and transport that with you back and forth from work to home.

Sorry... I already do that. Simply copying it over is no good because I may overwite new data. I need to leave the data tables alone and just import the new queries, macros etc...

To seperate DBs

DB One - Data Only (hold only the tables, and relationships)

DB Two - Interface (holds links to DB One, queries, macros, froms, reports, etc)

You can transport DB two around without worry about the data in DB One changing on you.

This is the method I prefer in a multi user enviroment also.
