two databases one memo field attempt

I want to be able to populate a memo field in one database with the memo field of a different databse located on a different harddrive. I want to do this so I don't have to type the same comments into two different areas.

1. Is this possible?

2. Would it be possible to change the memo field on the original database to a subfile so that I can display several memo fields from the second database in the one spot?

The bad news! This is being attempted with Access 97.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or thoughts.

Provided that you Db are on the same Network. Just link that table in the First DB to the Second DB. The you can see all the fields/data in the Second Db that exisit in the Orginal DB

Thanks for the quick answer. It dawned on me about 3 minutes after posting my initial question to use the linked table route.
