Unable to hide duplicates in a SubReport
I have a report (based on a query) that contains a SubReport which is based on a separate query. When I open the SubReport as a Report the hide duplicates works OK. but when the SubReport is opened in the main Report the duplicates do not hide. I have check the properties both in the SubReport (standalone) and when imbedded in the main Report. All looks OK to me but refuses to work. Help!

Why not remove the duplicates in the query that the sub report is based on so that they never get to the report?

The query has only two fields.
Status & Name. The Status repeats several times for each of the different Names & I would like to remove the duplicates. Present Fred Present George Present Albert Apology Bruce Apology Trevor To read: Present Fred George Albert Apology Bruce Trevor Hope this make more sense. |

Now that is not duplicates, that is grouping.
play with the "View", "Sorting and Grouping" in your sub form S- |

Yep done that.
When the Subreport is run standalone, the duplicates hide. When it is run as a subreport in the main report they don't. |

Download the sample reports. You need to look at the report "rptOrdersbyCustomer" Good Luck S- |
