I have the table of employees and form of employees.
I want that when a user enter the empID in the empID field, Employee name will automatically be written in the employee name text box (against its ID) Looking for your kind response thanx |

option one Combo box Option two DAO or ADO recordsets use in the after update of the text box I have attached a sample DB The logic is somwhat different but the code is the same for what you need look at the code on teh frmCustomer under the cobocustomer and txtcustNo S- |
