Web Access Security issue

Hi,

I am trying to update records on my access db using asp pages. This worked fine when i set "Everyone" access to "write" permissions. But when i compact and repair the db, "Everyone" is reset to read-only. How can i create a user name in the db so that i can avoid setting "Everyone" to have write permissions and stop the compacting from changing it. Also, when i move the db to a hosted web server, will i need to do anything special for security to the database?
