I need to be able to calculate the week number within a month based on a given date (either Date() or a date from the field in a set of records). i.e. 1/21/2004 would fall in week 3 of 4. is there a way to do this? I know how to return the number of the week within a year, but not within a month. I am running in Access 2002. looking for either SQL syntax or possible VB code to create a global expression... help!! i have looked everywhere i can think of, and while i know i've seen this done somewhere in my past, i can't seem to find it when i need it.

copy the attached textfile into one of your module. you can use whichweek(date()) function for your answer.
