Hi Guys
I have a dedictated web server running Win2000 advanced server SP2. I run my intranet here. I also have an ISP which hosts my live web site - accessible from all over the world (obviously). What I would like to know : 1. Can I have links from my external ISP which come back to my local server (intranet) - if so how ?; 2. is There a way I can dispense with the ISP hosting - if so how - is there a tute on this ? 3. Is there a great tute (tutorial) on using Win2000 Advanced Server and maxim ising its benefits ? I am pretty new to IIS so patient answers will be greatly appreciated. MTIA Darrin |

First start at the ms site and learn W2000 server.
iisfaq.com is one place to start learning IIS. and you need to expose your intranet server to the outside world and open all necessary tcp ports through any firewalls to link from other sites. But you need to be well versed on Internet security and windows security if you want your site to remain problem free once you open it up to the world.
