hi,
Currently I have a setup at the office where I'm working on a Windows 98 Machine and where the server is a XP Pro machine in the network. I upload my asp and database files over a share in the network, but appearantly the IIs server disallows access until I walk over and set access rights for each individual file :-\ (the folder it's in is fully shared in IIS.) That XP machine is in use though, so I wondered wherever there's a way to remotely set access rights from a Win98 on a XP Pro machine in a network share? Or have all the ASP files I upload processed instead of a "500 internal server error" ![]() Thanks in advance |

Make sure the destination folder has the correct permission settings, then enable the permissions to to be inherited by new files in the folder.
