Alternative to IIS

hi guys, is there an alternative to IIS5 for my windows 2000 server? i am getting sick and tired of IIS. My asp pages dont work on my w2k server with IIS5. some of the pages which i enforce re-login when there is no session does not work. it works beautifully when i test it in my w2k professional. but when i made it run on the w2k server it doesnt work. when i test it on the w2k server itself it works. but when i test it on any of the lan machines it doesnt work.

my programmer tested using write sessionid and it displayed the sessionid. but it kept increasing by one everytime he tried to refresh the same page.

I have tried reinstalling IIS. but it doesnt work. worst still i think IIS still keeps its configuration even though i uninstall. Microsoft is charging me $5000USD just to help me over the phone for technical questions like this.

is there any other free version of any webserver software that supports ASP 1 or ASP 2 of even ASP 3????

i was searching on microsoft kb and i stumbled upon this ... it seems to be a problem that is fixed in w2k sp4. i am going to try this on monday morning. cant wait to get it to work
