Anyone use Godaddy? Folder Properties
Hi Guys,
I have recently bought some webspace with godaddy, and I want to know how I can create a folder that can be accessed by my ASP scripts, but not by my visitors. On my old site (with EasySpace) it was simple... I had 2 folders; one was called HTML (the root folder for IIS) and one called DATA (this was not accessible by IIS). I obviously used the DATA folder for my databases, as that meant that they could not be accessed via a web-browser, and I used the HTML folder for my public html files (duh!) However, the root folder on my Godaddy account is the root folder for my FTP account - so EVERYTHING is accessible via IIS - and I obviously don’t want to host my databases in the public domain. Is there something I can do?

godaddy access databases are kept under a directory off of the root. but you need to enable access in order for the directory to be created.
