Angry asp files won't show

Hi.
I have IIS installed but I get a "server application error" when I try to view any .asp files.

When I look in my event viewer to see what the problem is, every time i'ver tried to open an .asp file I see COM+ issueing a warning :"An incompletely initialized CRM log file was detected. It has been re-initialized. If this warning appears when the CRM log file is being initially created then no further action is required. "

...followed by an error: "A condition has occurred that indicates this COM+ application is in an unstable state or is not functioning correctly. Assertion Failure: SUCCEEDED(hr)"

I can view .aspx files but only the html actually runs and the asp code is completely ignored.

I'm trying to meet a deadline for a class and I'm so frustrated. I'd appreciate any and all the help I can get!!

THANK YOU!!

I haven't seen your error before. I use IIS on XP Pro SP2 without problems. You must be the administrator user while installing IIS, I always use NTFS as the file system without simple file sharing enabled, and no problem.

Try turning off the firewall and av script blocking while testing.

I have exactly this problem and have yet to find a sollution for it.
I am a computer professional with a master degree in computers so I know very well what I am doing.
I have been in contact with microsoft support but they had no idea what is causing it and sent me to some more advanced support and since then I have not heard from them.
