Scenario: an Asp.Net portal aplication installed in a Win2003 with IIS 6.0, using Basic Authentication for the access control.
Problem: When submiting webforms(POSTs), the web server blocks the response for a while and after 3 minutes of waiting, the client browser gets the message "page cannot be displayed...". The server has this behaviour in the 90% of the time. But, meanwhile, in the other 10% of the time, the server responds in full speed. Note that for the HTTP GETs the server always responds in full speed. Any idea of the problem? Thanks in advance. |

I don't use NET or IIS6, maybe someone else has an idea for you.
