Open the IIS manager and the properties for your website. Click the Home Directory tab and then the Configuration button. There should be an entry there for the aspx extension. On my server the executable points to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspne t_isapi.dll.

Thanks for replied, I appreciated it. I also wanna know when I create virtual directory on IIS manager, this aspx extension will add automatically or not? 'cos on my pc testing is already have this entry after virtual directory created. tmr I will go for other pc try to check this entry. If other pc also have, wat else will cause the IE save or open the "default.aspx" by Studio.NET insteads of browse directly.

You need the .NET framework installed on your computer for .aspx to work.

Perhaps some permissions got discombobulated.

Search here, or the ms site, ms has a command-line tool that resyncs net and iis and permissions, but I don't remember the name of the tool.
