I am working on VS.NET for my website. I want others to
view my website at their own computer. I know that by locating at http://myipaddress/myprojectname/myfilename.aspx will come to my website. But dont know why, all my friends tell me that they cannot access due to the problem like "cannot access the server" I tried to ping my ip and found that that ip should be the correct one. (the one I found in ipconfig) I started the virtual directory in IIS already. so I really cannot figure out what is the problem. Can anyone please suggest some solutions? |

If your friends are outside your LAN, probably you haven't allowed port 80 to get through your firewall. Or, if you're on a cable modem maybe your cable company is blocking port 80
