Cannot enable Usage Analysis

I'm trying to get summary reports from my web server, but I cannot get to the Usage Analysis settings in order to enable analysis. I go into Microsoft SharePoint Administrator>Administration>Go to Site Administration for mysite which brings up the administration page, but there is no "Configure Usage Analysis Settings" section.

Any suggestions?

I have learned that usage analysis in FP2002 and MS SharePoint is not point-and-click on a webserver running Windows 2003 Server. Usage analysis must be run from the command line ... c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\50\bin\owsadm.exe -o usage -p 80 ... this runs the usage analysis for port 80 (assuming that's the port of the site you're interested in analyzing). However, FP 2002 will still not "read" the results of that analysis ... I'm still trying to figure out what to do instead. I will post my findings if successful, but I appreciate any ideas here. Thanks!

I have the same problem, can't find the link like I could with Windows 2000 and FP extensions 2002.

I found the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sppt/sharepnt/fpseusag.mspx
Basically, what I did is goto the page where they "claim" the Configure Usage Analysis Settings are and you will be at something like:

http://<server>/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmdll.dll well just change that to:
http://<server>/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmdll.dll?page=usage.htm and you will see the same old Usage page you're used to. I change settings there now all works. Still bugging me that I don't have a "Link" or "Section" in the admin page to get there. Any tips as to how I can get the section in there would be great. I have a new install of windows 2003 server standard with new exchange 2003 install on it and the frontpage 2002 server extensions that came with the windows 2003 cd installed. Are those FP extensions any different than the ones I download? Perhaps that is part of it, they messed up when they put out the copy integrated on the OS cd. *shrug*
