Cannot Find Server Error
I am running Wind2K w/IE6.0. I get the CANNOT FIND SERVER msg when accessing MSN hotmail and other secure sites. Yahoo and other sites working fine. DOUG G had a suggestion to uninstall IIS, restart then reinstall, that worked for another member. I cannot find the path he suggested through the control panel--admin tools. Is anybody able to walk me through the process?
Thanx JSurr |

This sounds like a problem in the browser, not with your local IIS. Your own IIS has nothing to do with MSN or other outside sites. You could try stopping the IIS (www) service and then trying to get to MSN, if it still fails you know IIS isn't the problem.
