configuruing smtp server for sending mail in asp
hello ,
I have an asp page which allows th user to send me a mail. I've configured the virtual smtp server in IIS also. However, it takes a vert long time for iis to send the emails and they are sent in batches. IS there a setting i've missed ? Thanks.

sorry i dont noe the ans to ur problem, but i was wondeirn whether u could share how u set up such an smtp server such tt u can receive email...so the email id...is one u specified right? how
did u set it up,,? i am runnin iis as well...but no email yet... thanx

I don't use the IIS SMTP myself, and can't tell you if there is some smtp setting. Perhaps the problem lies in your pop/imap mail server or how often your mail client checks for mail.
