Explain: "I reinstalled IIS in Administrator Mode"

And wouldn't reinstalling the whole Windows OS cause a major disruption?

I asked you to check the event logs of the system. Did you?

Hi Phoenix,

From the event log, i could see these:

W3SVC:
The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/Root/MFG'. The error was 'The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password.

DCOM error:
DCOM got error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. " and was unable to logon .\IWAM_P1440012 in order to run the server:{3D14228D-FBE1-11D0-995D-00C04FD919C1}

And about reinstalling IIS in admin mode:
i mean that currently i'm using user account to log on into my pc.........which which some level of authorization might be disabled, so i try installing IIS when i logged into my pc as administrator but somehow the problem still persist.

Could you pls help.....?
thanx

The problem is that the User Objects the website and IIS process run under cannot be authenticated.

Ensure that IUSER_<MachineName> and IWAM_<MachineName> exist on your system.

Is your server a Member Server in a domain, a Domain Controller, or a Stand-Alone Server?

Hi,

I'm trying to run it from my pc only.............
