CreateRecordset error '80070057'
In my application we're running an indexing service query using the ixsso.Query object and the ixsso.Util object.
When we add too many characters to the scope using util.AddScopeToQuery, we get the error: CreateRecordset error '80070057' The parameter is incorrect. This error seems to be because we have gone over a character limit for the scope property. We tested out different characters lengths of scopes, and found that 14478 characters worked, but 14479 characters didn't. Can anyone confirm if this is correct - that there's a character limit on indexing service query scopes? Thanks! -Chad

I'm sorry, I don't know the indexing service. www.iisfaq.com or www.iis-resources.com might have some helpful info.
