High number of sessions -- server very slow
I'm running Windows Server 2003 web edition with IIS 6 and sometimes (about once or twice a day) I suddenly have 400 to 500 current sessions showing in the Performance Monitor.

This causes the web server to run very slow and I have to restart the web service.

How can I pinpoint what is causing the huge number of sessions?

Search MS for a program iisstate (or iisstatus), it's a command-line tool that tries to match sessions with asp pages.
