How do I view an .aspx file via a network

A colleague has created ASP.NET pages on his pc which he can view using \\localhost\[sitename]. When I go to view the pages using his pc name \\[servername]\[sitename], I get the error message, 'Windows cannot find "\\[servername]\[sitename]". Check the spelling and try again....'.

We are both new at this and can't figure out what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Try using the IP address rather than the servername
