How to allow public to access to the web server?
Hi,
I've setup web server and tested it with asp..it works fine if i have access to that server. This is the link, http://xxx.xxx.x.xx/test.asp Let say i open that link from another pc (which is linked to that server), it works fine, but if i open that link from outside (no link to that server), it will give "The page cannot be displayed." Is there any way for me to allow public to access that web server? any idea? thanx in advance |

Hey,
I think this has been talked about before, but, if you have a router make sure you set up port forwarding, cause that was the same problem i was having, that i could see it, but not outsiders, and i logged into my routers home page, and set up port forwarding, other just my .02 Thanks. Mike. |
