|
I have just purchased windows 2003 server, I have set up exchange 2003 on it, exchange works fine i can login and check email and misc stuff like that. I have just tryed to set up my web site using ISS and all i get when i go to the url is HTTP 500 Internal Server Error, thats on the server that the site is on. What am i doing wrong? i cannot figure it!

You will need to turn off friendly http errors to view the full error.
In internet explorer Click Tools > Click Internet Options > Click Advanced Tab > Under Browsing uncheck the "Show Friendly HTTP Errors" checkbox. Then refresh the page. You should then see a more detailed error. Post the detailed error back here. What type of pages are you trying to run? ASP, .NET??? |

The message in IE is and i quote "The system cannot find the path specified." The site is just a html site.

Also should it be port 80? cause it has a confilct with exchange i think and the engine has stopped and wont start.

The path to your database is not right. Check DB path.
