IIS 6 : AppPool / website ... Help me plz
I'm a new sys engineer for IIS6 and w2k3 .T-T
( My web server P4 2.8GHz RAM 1 GB ... (paging file for VM 2 GB ) My server have about 10-20 web site + last month my server have 1 app pool (def ) for all website . but no have any problem . in this time (asp.net ) i test seperate app pool to 4 app pools (+default) . It's eat a lot resource minimum 40-50 MB per pool ( Max 200-250 MB !!) i config them recycle every day 02:00AM but not help ... in the afternoon system will restore memory itself (check by monitor PC of memory available) ... I want 2 know - What 's Number of website / app pool ? - What's rule to seperate them ? - What's should i do ... upgrade RAM or any thing ?
