IIS 6 Document Footer
Under Web sites, properties, documents:
I have set my enabled Footers for my documents and selected the straight HTML footer page that I want to see at the end of each document. However my footer is not showing up on my web pages? But when I navigate to the actual footer.htm page I see the footer twice. So the footer does show up but only on the footer page? Anyone have any experience with this happening? Thanks ahead of time for your response. |

I don't know IIS6, but it sounds like some kind of path problem in the settings for the footer page. Just guessing.

I get grief too with ASP pages
I can't get the IIS footer to work if the page being called is a .asp page rather than a .htm. This is under IIS5, but I suspect the problem is the same.
So, if I call an .htm page, the footer displays just fine. Call a .asp, and there's no footer. This explains why pcplayer gets the display twice when he views the footer: once when the .htm page is displayed and then again when the footer is added. But all the .asp pages show nothing. Vernon |
