|
IIS acrossed home network
Hey guys I set up a home shared directory using XP Pro. I turned on IIS for asp. I created a web directory in "SharedDocs". However can't get IIS to register as an intranet on other computers on the network. Can other computers running WIN HOME see it? Is it possible. If so how do I do it?

Assuming you don't have any firewalls blocking your web server, simply open a web browser on any other computer on your LAN to http://<LAN ip address of webserver> or http://<computer name on LAN>
