Iis help domain name display
I am fairly new to iis. I have my domain registerd with godaddy and forwarded to my static ip address. My web site works fine, but when you got to the page it shows my static ip address/folders. How do i get it to show my domain name instead of the static ip address. Thanks, in advance.

If you're talking about the browser address window normally that's based on how the user goes to your site, if they enter the ip then that's what displays, if they enter the url name that's what displays.

if you set up forwarding at godaddy ... it will use whatever you have it forwarded to for the URL address bar, unless you select masking, then it will always display your domain name regardless of which age they are on.
i think what you need to change at godaddy is your NameServer information using your Static IP address.
