Can anyone recommend a good "free" quick tool to query iis logs. I need to have the ability to search on any text in any column in the logs.
I did find some pretty cool tools on the web but they can tend to be a little pricey. What would be really really really cool is if someone could point me to some open source code that would do this. Then, I would classify you as the coolest person in the world! ![]() Thanks! ![]() |

You might want to try Web Log Expert Lite. It is the light-weight version of WebLog Expert. It has it's limits; however, it is one of the better Free analyzers.

URL - this is the best probably in the open source world - but not so friendly to install
URL - this is 5 minutes job to install and if you put report magic on the top (another 5 mins) it becomes really someting cool cheers, novak |
