IIS Problem

Hi Guys

My 1st post here, hope you can help me with what is most likely stupidity on my part.

I have IIS running on a Lan behind a router which is forwarding relevant ports to my server.

This is the problem

my ip address is URL there is a blank index page.

if i post an image or any web document on a forum elsewhere for example URL it is visable to everyone BUT myself. When i try to view anything all that happens is that my pc trys to connect to my router (217.44.97.249)

If i put URL before the url it is viewable ok.

Is there something stupid that i'm missing?

Thanks in advance for your help

All I can suggest is you review your network settings. Your description sounds like some kind of tcp configuration problem.

Also review your port forwarding in your router.
