Question IIS Setup Problem

Hi, I have a problem trying to setup VStudio.net 2003. all the forums said that yoyu shoul be able to execute on the iexplorer: http://localhost. In my case doesn't work. Install and unistall IIS, Frontpage Extensions. Doesn't work either!!

Maybe this help to find out what is happenning: as I said before http://localhost doesn't work but http://<computerName> does, and
in the managament console of the IIS show the name of the PC instead LocalHost as the IIS Server. How I fix This ??????????????

can somebody help me with the trobleshooting, and later when this is working IŽll try to setup again Vstudio.net 2003.

For referecence OS: Windows 2000 Service pack 4(English)
Vstudio.net: 2003 (Spanish)

HEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!

That's probably your problem. Microsoft only recommends installing same-language software on a localised operating system.

If u r under a network. go under ur browser and under tools go under internet options then connection then lan settings....
if u r under a proxy, check the bypass proxy server for local address....

this will make \\localhost work.
