Index Server abstract generation

Hey guys, I have received zero replies on a couple of my index server questions which leads me to believe that nobody knows about it. Nonetheless, i'm gonna try again. I have my query pages set to run on IIS 5.1 and i can access the pages from the outside internet just fine. The problem is that when i do my query, i get my results but no abstracts. I have abstract generation set and the size (500 characters) but abstracts only show for a small amount of the documents (i have over 1000 and i would say i get an abstract every 30 or so, if that). What is wrong with my files that would cause no abstract to be generated? There's not a thing that i can see wrong.

Also, as an aside, the sample query page that i'm running (it came from the SDK for WIN XP SP2) has two links for Summary and Full which is supposed to hilite the hits inside the document. This doesn't work for ANY of the files, even the ones that show abstracts. I can see these being incredibly helpful.

If anybody has any information about this, even just to say that you have the same problem, reply please. I'm incredibly frustrated.

Sorry, I don't use index server. There are some articles about it in the Web Development section of the msdn library.
